Weathervanes
Once long ago, it was believed that the winds were gods. In that ancient time, flags were used to tell the direction of the going wind. It is said that over 2000 years ago, an astronomer and architect from Greece built the first weathervane...immortalizing those myths and legends in bronze.
Good Directions is the only weathervane provider in the country selected by the
esteemed Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. to design and sell the
SmithsonianŽ Collection by Good Directions line of distinctive weathervanes; each
one authorized to include the distinctive logo.
Produced by American craftsmen. Made by hand in sculptural detail. Good Directions' weathervanes add a bit of elegance to the home, barn, garden or gazebo.
